Product Specialist Intern | March 2026 – July 2026
As a Product Specialist Intern at Blackmagic Design Singapore, I supported the company's technical operations, product demonstrations, and marketing initiatives within the professional broadcast and film industry. My role involved creating video content, supporting live productions, assisting with product testing, and contributing to event operations, allowing me to develop both creative and technical skills in a fast-paced professional environment.

Video Production & Post-Production
I produced and edited meeting videos, event highlights and interview content using DaVinci Resolve Studio. Throughout the internship, I worked on various projects that required strong storytelling, attention to detail and efficient post-production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Produced the Blackmagic Asia Meet recap video
- Edited Broadcast Asia event highlight video
- Edited setup and teardown time-lapse videos
- Created interview and testimonial videos
- Performed colour correction and colour matching between multiple cameras
- Balanced and enhanced audio using Fairlight
- Created motion graphics and visual elements using Fusion
- Organised and managed large amounts of media footage

Product Testing & Technical Support
As part of the Product Specialist role, I supported the Technical Support team by assisting with product testing and troubleshooting. This experience gave me a better understanding of professional broadcast equipment and the importance of accurate technical diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Tested returned products in the Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) department such as the DeckLink cards and VideoHubs
- Verified product functionality

I supported Blackmagic Design during major industry events such as Broadcast Asia by assisting with event setup, filming and operational activities. These experiences allowed me to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating closely with different teams.
